According to The Daily Star, Sheffield United are set to reward manager Chris Wilder with a long term contract.
Chris Wilder has guided Sheffield United to promotion to the Championship after several years of near misses and disappointing campaigns.
But the former Northampton Town boss arrived last summer, recruited well and recovered from a shaky start to lead the Blades’ charge up the League One table.
They finally clinched promotion against his former club Northampton at Sixfields last weekend with a 2-1 win enough to secure their place in the automatic promotion spots.
With a commanding nine point lead over Bolton with four games remaining, Sheffield United also look set to win the League One title.
Chris Wilder’s good work at Sheffield United is set to be repaid with the Daily Star reporting that a long term contract is on the table for Wilder to sign.
The Blades will look to tie up his future ahead of their 2016/17 Championship campaign.
